time is moving

I have been so busy the last week,that at times I don't think that I can stop and breathe! I have so much going on with the boys school,work,making necklaces and I had two purse parties within a few days.I am not complaing about the necklaces or the parties it is taking me to Haiti,but I feel overwhelmed and just want to take a deep breath and relax. I have to go back to work the next few days (there is no relaxing there),and then my oldest is gone to a camp for a few days with his 5th grade class,so I am hoping in the next few days I can do this..I've had a HARD week mentally as well.Somethings have come up that I don't want to discuss or think about but I know that my heart is in the right place for me.God has lifted me up out of the deep holes of dispair before and has shown me his love and that has given me hope and peace,I do not want to go there again but I have this week and can only pray that this all shall pass and I should stop worrying about the if's and what's.I should only worry about what my God thinks of my decisions, No one else !!!

My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 46:10-"Be Still and Know That I am GOD"...how appropriate it that for me right now???

Getting closer

So it is now almost 5 weeks until I leave for Haiti.I can't believe that it's getting closer.So much to do! Our church is getting ready to do the annual golf fundraising for the Orphanage,it's called BareFootin for Haiti Golf!http://www.haitigolfclassic.org/HGC/index.asp   Go and check it out and if the Lord leads you to donate or sponsor you may do this just follow the directions..

So after many request I finally have a blog site showing some of my Hand Stamped Sterling silver neclaces, and bottle cap necklaces that I am doing to raise money for my Medical Mission trip to Haiti in a few weeks. This family is adopting from Haiti and she is auctioning some stuff off for her girls so they can come home to their family...Go to there website and help them.There are some of my necklaces on there up for auction and she makes the best smelling candles that I have ever smelled!

Just to let everyone know....I have some exciting news!!!!! My hubby is going to Haiti with me!!! I am SO excited!! I can't wait to go and experience this with him and I can't wait for him to get to come to the clinic and help out! By far I think this is the best trip ever for missions.I'm sure I could go and hammer a nail but to help the sick people is what God made me to do!! And to think that I actually wanted to be a teacher! God has other plans for us doesn't he? He sure does and I can't wait to see what the next one is......Thanks for all the people praying for us!!

Some necklaces for a mission trip

I am raising money for my mission trip and now I am working on raising money for my wonderful husband to go with me..We will leave for Haiti in 6.5 weeks.In the few weeks that I have been making these necklaces I have had a great amount of support and I can only think that this is all from God!! I can't wait to go and love on some orphan girls,help the sick in the clinic! So this is a few things that I have been making..If anyone is interested in helping out my trip then please let me know and I can make you some of this cute stuff...

These are bottle caps and I have sold a lot of these..They are so fun!!
I made this for a Teachers gift and it just reminds me of why people become teachers in the first place.I think it really takes someone REALLY special to teach in these days..

My favorites...My boys love their necklaces and what better way to show their love for Jesus then wearing them around their neck..Kids shouldn't be the only ones to wear these either they are great for adults as well..

And a necklace made for my friends husband that has cancer.He is going through chemo right now but we are positive and almost certain that God is going to heal him and he WILL be a survivor..

Thanks for letting me show off some of the things that I have been doing here lately.I am excited everyday for an order and it's just one more step closer to experiencing this with my husband.

Fall Mantel

My Fall Mantel is finished..I used pumpkins like these found at the dollar store and placed them on the candle sticks.

I found this lantern at Kirklands clearance out.The glass was broken so I just took the rest of the glass out and placed some fall pumpkins and gourds it it.You can change this every season if you like so that makes me happy.
These are the best! FALL printed from the computer,placed on fall scrapbook paper and these frames I had left over from the garage sale.I just spray painted them.You can do this every season too,you just need more frames.I love this as well.Something new that I did this year and really like it.

OH...how I love fall! I am hoping to go to the mountains and get some great fall family pics done soon as the leaves change colors,I want to go to the corn maze as well.

The garage sale that we had to help with our Haiti trip was amazing! We did really well.I am praying that the funds come in from somewhere so my husband can go with me on this trip.Oh exciting to share this with him! I would love for him to go and see what the clinic is all about and I would love for us to be together so we can experience it as a couple.I am praying really hard for this and am almost definitely know that this trip has his name written all over it! Please pray for us,we have to have the full amount in 4 weeks!!!!!

I have been so busy the last week with making jewelry and getting ready for a big garage sale but I wanted to show you what I got in my fortune cookie a few weeks ago...

"Remember three months from this date,Good things are in store for you" I love it and when I calculated up the date it was right when I come back from Haiti...I know that good things are in store for me,how could they not be after spending a precious week in Haiti loving on the orphans and taking care of the sick..Just what I was meant to do...I had to take a picture!

I have my fall mantel done and will post a picture soon and still working on my Family Rules,maybe it will be done this weekend as well so I can post a picture.I am having a garage sale with a really good friend of mine that will be joining me in Haiti.We did really good today! I am so praying that this does well so maybe someone special can go with me and we can experience this together.I had a nice lunch with a few people that are going and just got me so excited that I can't stand it...

Fall Sunday

So today was a good day,went to a wonderful church service this am,went to lunch with my 3 fav guys.Watched them ride go carts for awhile and then went shopping with my wonderful parents..So today is good..I have started working on the Family Rules that I found the other day on a blog,I am hoping to have it finished the last of the week..I have finished some necklaces as well and ready to ship those off..
This weekend is my garage sale to help with my cost for Haiti.I am praying that it does really good.I know that God is blessing me and he will provide the funds for this trip! My husband said this am,that he was trying to figure out how to get another 1500.00 for him to go with me,and oh how I wish he could.I would love to go and spend a week with him in Haiti and to especially go and see the clinic.So this will be on my daily prayer list.I always said that we would never go together until the boys got older but after he said this,I was super excited in my own quiet way.I wasn't sure if he was going to ever go back.Even though his trip was a wonderful trip there was still alot of heartache that went along with both trips,so to hear that he did want to go and he had been thinking about it made my heart sing for joy! So if he doesn't go then atleast I know it is still on his mind...
Please pray for one of Zak's good friends.He has surgery on Tuesday to take out a tumor in his shoulder and to test for cancer.He is only 10 yrs old and is a sweet sweet boy..I would love for everyone to read this to place this little boy on your prayer list..So until tommorrow with some new pics of fall I will see ya then..God Bless Everyone...

Fun fall craft...

This is a fun craft that you can do,very easy and most of it you I'm sure all ready have at home...Just take some jars,some tissue paper,modge podge it on and then stick some Christmas lights in the jar!! How simple is that and there you have a cute Halloween craft....
